- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I explained to Holdsworth that I was on a budget and gave him my retainer. He spent well over my retainer without my knowledge or permission. And he STILL hadnt come thru for me. Then I had to dismiss the case. It wasn't until I had to dismiss the case that I was notified by Holdsworth of another, way cheaper option. Why wasnt I told this in the beginning? Now I'M getting billed for the overage! Who spends someone elses money without asking first? Just another example of why people feel the way they do about lawyers.
